| Personal History | Early Life Elliot grew up on the coast, helping his father on a small lobster boat. He learned knots, tides, and how to read the sky long before he understood algebra. During Captivity He was captured while checking tide pools near home. The men quickly realized he understood boats and put him to work handling lines, fuel, and basic maintenance. Elliot learned who actually knew engines and who only pretended. After Elliot speaks little and trusts slowly. He watches people the way he once watched the weather—looking for signs of change.
